Frequently Asked Questions
All applications can be completed online. A current State-issued Drivers License or photo ID are required with the application, along with proof of income. This documentation can be uploaded online or brought into the property. We process all applications and may conditionally approve your application(s) while you wait. All applications are given final approval by the Property Manager within 72 hours.
Yes. Your total income must be at least 2.5 times the portion of your rent you are responsible for. If you do not meet the minimum income requirement, you have the option of applying with a guarantor. For more information, contact the leasing office.
If the income requirement of 2.5 times your rental amount is met, we will then check your credit and rental history. We use Equifax to obtain a copy of your credit report, and we consider public records regarding rental history. If your income, credit and rental history meet our criteria, we will conditionally approve your application before we check your criminal background.
The application fee is $50 per applicant. The fee is non-refundable given the fact that it covers the cost of processing your application.
A $100 advanced rental deposit is due upon completion of the application. The fee reserves the apartment for you while the application is processed. Once your application is approved, the advanced rental deposit will be applied to your first months rent upon move-in. If your application is not approved, the advanced rental deposit will be refunded.
A $400 move-in fee is charged to cover the cost to process your application and move-in. The fee is non-refundable. This fee is due upon move-in with the balance of your first months rent.
All utilities are included with the exception of electric.
Off-street parking is not available at the community.
Standard occupancy is 2 persons per bedroom

It is the best area in DC in my opinion. There are restaurants, shopping, my bank, several nearby grocery stores, pharmacy, medical supply store, 24 hour convenient store, laundrymats--THE MAJESTIC is near everything in walking distance. My experience so far has been totally wonderful. Building management was very kind and helpful. As I moved it, almost every resident passing stopped to introduce themselves and give me a warm welcome to the building. Found a gem tucked in between two of DC's best neighborhoods with ample sunlight, great views, big open studio plans all for a great price! It's easy to find public transportation or walk to all your necessities and the residents have all been wonderfully pleasant. Also a word out to the management staff at the building for being amazing as well.

I love the location and the 1920s/30s style. Staff have always resolved issues quickly. They communicated well throughout the process. I just moved from a smaller unit to a bigger one. Have lived in the building since 2019 and have no major complaints.

I contacted the leasing office to inquire about the availability of studio apartments in my price range and was notified promptly that a unit in my price range was available. I met with the leasing manager twice to initially view the unit and a second time, after I was approved, to take measurements. The staff has always been professional and has responded in a timely manner to all inquiries from me. I am very pleased with being a member of this community and would recommend it to all.

The process of locating the apartment, looking at the facilities, leasing it, and moving in has been very smooth. The assistant property manager Stephanie Valez has been extremely helpful. The property itself is very good. In particular, the gym has been very useful for me.

I have always loved the architecture of the building. Apartments on the front side get great light. Maintenance responds to requests quickly. Office is communicative. Building is quiet but in a great location to access other parts of the city and to walk to restaurants, grocery stores/markets, and bars.
